Every time I wake up on a cruise ship, the first thing I always do is look out the window. That first look out sets the tone for the rest of the day. If it’s sunny, it’s an outside pool deck kind of day. If it’s gray, it’s a stay in the room and watch movies for most of the day kind of day.
After such a great first day in Hong Kong, it was going to be hard for day two to live up to it because, you know, supposedly lightning doesn’t strike the same place twice.
Our itinerary for this cruise gave us two days in Hong Kong, a full day, an overnight and then until 3:00 PM the following day. We had absolute freedom to do whatever we wanted, however we wanted, whenever we wanted. That’s an exhilarating proposition.
Vietnam had been everything we’d hoped it would be and the places we’d already seen on this trip and the things we’d done – I could not have asked for more. Well, that’s not true. Sleep.
