Déjà Dream: Just Another (Pictorial) Dream Review — Part Twofeatured
Two posts in one night! Woo!
Our first full day in Disney brought an early morning wake-up at 8:15 am so we could get dressed, get in the car and get to…
We found a kickass parking spot and were quickly in the park. We grabbed some Fast Passes for Soarin’ before grabbing breakfast at Sunshine Seasons (where we found a 20% off park merchandise coupon on our receipt).
Bright eyed and full, we just rode everything we could get on with minimal wait time in Future World.
We decided to grab lunch in World Showcase, but couldn’t decide on where to go. So I grabbed lunch in Mexico at La Cantina de San Angel…
…while Stephanie and Mom opted to eat lunch in Morocco at Tangerine Cafe.
Baklava (Stephanie said this was some of the best she’d ever had!)
And then we just walked around World Showcase for awhile. I love World Showcase. Always something new to see or discover.
At this point, between the travel day yesterday and the late night we had switching rooms (twice) the night before, we were quickly hitting our walls. What do you do when you hit your energy wall at Epcot? Take a few go-rounds on Spaceship Earth.
And then you ride Test Track to jolt yourself awake.
Re-energized, we headed back to World Showcase to grab some cupcakes from Karmel Kuche (if you’ve never tried one, you need to. They’re fantastic!)
We walked back to Future World instead of taking the launch because it was too long of a wait for the next launch and the walk is always a nice one.
We did one more ride on Spaceship Earth before heading out.
We headed back to the hotel to relax and take showers and then drove over to Downtown Disney for dinner at Wolfgang Puck Express, which is always one of the BEST uses of a counter service credit on a Disney Dining Plan.
Chinois Chicken Salad (one of my favorite things to eat in Disney! So good!)
And then…we shopped a bit. We went to Walgreens to look for wine to bring on the ship with us (which they didn’t have), we re-packed our suitcases and…went to bed at just past 2:00 am, ready and excited to board the Dream the next morning.
