Murphy’s Law Takes Vacation — The World’s Longest Dream Review (Part Ten)featured
I don’t know what the weather was like in Chicago, but no way it beat the beauty of this weather!
A quick lunch on the Lanai while we planned our day out (seriously, that salad bar was tops)…
…and a quick trip up to Lido for a slice of Tiramisu Cheesecake (I say this in every review — this is offered once per cruise on the Lido deck during lunch and is not to be missed!)
A bit more sun on the crowded Lido deck before getting ready for…
The ship was all decked out for tonight’s Halloween activities
The wind isn’t our friend — it took five shots to get a picture where our hair wasn’t sticking up, in our faces or we weren’t laughing at each others hair. Good thing we got it, too…we were just about to run late on our reservation to the Supper Club.
Brioche + butter/spreads (they offer many different breads. This one is just, IMO, the best)
Amuse Bouche (a potato soup and steak tartare, which was out of this world)
Selection of International Cheeses (plated tableside)
Sliced Sun-Ripened Beef Steak Tomato
Broiled New York Strip Loin Steak
Broiled Filet Mignon (with Bearnaise Sauce and Yukon Gold Mash with Wasabi Horseradish)
Homemade Sherbet (I believe this was Port Wine)
Cheesecake with Hazelnut Biscuit
Our new friend waiting for us back in our cabin
Dinner o’ Gluttony down, time to celebrate Halloween!!!
