Murphy’s Law Takes Vacation — The World’s Longest Dream Review (Part Twelve)featured
Every visit after our first visit (when we visited Orient Beach), we always ended up bumming around the shopping district. A few years ago, we discovered one of my favorite stores (Tiffany & Co.) right in the heart of it. The last time we were here back in 2009, Tiffany’s was closed and we weren’t sure if it was for the day or forever. But as luck would have it, it was just for the day and it was open when we visited this time! And I was ready to blow some serious I-just-got-promoted-at-work dough (and in a funny twist of things, as I’m writing about this trip a year and a half later, I just got promoted…again…right as we’re about to leave on another trip).
And then? We just walked around. We might have planned something to do if we’d known we were going to visit St. Maarten more than 48 hours before we got onboard but there are much worse places to bum around and shop.
But it got hazy out. And that was my signal to go nap.
