Early morning! Quick showers and breakfasts so we could get in the car…
But right as we were pulling into the parking garage, we got that little slip of paper that confirmed Hurricane Rina didn’t want us to go to the Western Caribbean. Rina wanted those beautiful Hondurian waters all to herself. And we were going to Nassau/St. Thomas/St. Maarten instead. All good in this hood. I’ve already been to all these ports anyways. It’s the journey, not the destination, etc. Get me onboard and get me something fruity with an umbrella in it, stat!
Platinum boarding didn’t help Lido crowding. By the time we made ourselves to the Lido restaurant for lunch, it was packed. We sought refuge upstairs at the pasta bar.
