Apologies and News!!!featured
Hi all!
I promise, I haven’t forgotten about finishing up this review. Would you believe that three of us have the H1N1 flu? And that Stephanie and I got it from the nasal mist vaccine and Mom got it from us from something called viral shedding? Grandma is the only one who has evaded it thus far ::knock on wood::, but we’re all pretty miserable. Stephanie might also have a sinus infection and I’m pretty sure I also have an ear infection. Oh, and we’re in the middle of a snow storm.
Yeah, things are interesting around here right now. We certainly could use any good thoughts you can send our way for speedy recoveries because….
WE CHOSE A CRUISE!
And it’s a shocker 😉
So the answer to the poll?
::drum roll::
NONE OF THE ABOVE!
In a last-minute change of heart, we booked the Freedom for the Western Caribbean route. So hopefully, some of my cruise mates will find some interest in that. We almost booked the Miracle again because of some reported new ship kinks in the Dream. We were thisclose and then we found a crazy amazing rate for the Freedom (and Stephie told me that no one would be interested in the THIRD World’s Longest Miracle Review, though that could come in May…or on one of the Aruba routes…). Relatively new ship we’ve never been on? Two ports we’ve never been to? Two rooms next to each other? Sign us up! So, we called our totally awesome PVP (if anyone ever needs a recommendation, he’s booked our past four cruises for us and we love him, so let me know) and he took care of it all for us.
So, get ready for the World’s Longest Carnival Freedom Review come February. I’m thinking of incorporating video into these reviews. Stay tuned for that one (I might put a poll up about it). And if anyone has any hints, tips, tidbits, anything about the Freedom (or excursion recommendations for Cozumel, Costa Rica and Panama- we haven’t been to Cozumel since our FIRST cruise on the Miracle back in 2005 and we’ve never been to Costa Rica or Panama), please let me know!
